The Brentford Chamber of Commerce would like to send their heartiest congratulations to Garth on the award of his MBE. Garth was awarded his MBE for his unstinting 30 years of helping young people that started when he worked as a teacher in the borough. Lately as Co-ordinator of the Hounslow Education Business Partnership he has been setting up initiatives between schools, businesses and organisations - of particular note is the 'Reservoir to Tap Challenge' which invites pupils from local schools and the surrounding areas to think like a water engineer and work on the problem of how to get water to every home, business, school, hospital, etc.
