We are pleased to announce our next General Meeting which will take place on Tuesday 30th at the Holiday Inn from 6pm for a 6.30pm start. There we will have a workshop discussion about how the Chamber can deliver more for its members. Light refreshments will be provided and we invite you to join us for dinner afterwards in the Holiday Inn. Please RSVP your intentions.

Last Thursday Peter Hughes and Andy Ward met with the developers of the proposed new building on Chiswick Roundabout which is going to the Sustainable Development Committee in a fortnight (details not yet available). This is too short notice for a presentation to be made to the Chamber, but if you would like to have a look at the proposals (see http://bit.ly/bm6nF9 and further links included within) and discuss them with Peter please do so on 020 8560 3302 or via peter@photoview.co.uk.

Kew Bridge Steam Museum is having an open evening on 25th March and we pass on the invitation:
One of the success stories of KBSM has been the growth in its use as a venue for parties, weddings, filming, conferences and business meetings.

In party dress, the Museum is a magical place and Anne Clark, our Events Co-ordinator is organizing an open evening, supported by our suppliers of catering services, wine, flowers, lighting and music, to which you and your guest are warmly invited.

You will be able to appreciate the special atmosphere  of the Museum as a venue, accompanied by the silent music and dance of steam and fortified by wine and canapés.

If you would like to attend as a potential user or as someone who can spread the word for us, please contact Anne at functions@kbsm.orgfor a complimentary invitation.

Remember, KBET Members of over one year standing, enjoy special discounts on venue hire.

I hope you can support us.  This is a vital activity in helping to cover the ever increasing costs of operating the Museum with its unique collection of steam pumping engines.

We look forward to your company on the evening of Thursday 25th March.

Brentford Community Council has launched its Brentford Survey as the first stage of its Brentford Sustainable Community Stratgey. This is a great opportunity for businesses to make their opinions heard and it only takes five minutes to complete so please follow the link at http://bit.ly/amDWAC
